Proven results, built on 35 years of combined experience at the Texas Capitol.

Founded in 2018 by Lorena Campos, Campos Consulting Group is an Austin government affairs firm representing clients before the Texas Legislature and state agencies. Lorena brings fifteen years of Capitol experience, and Aaron Gibson brings over twenty years of Texas legislative and regulatory work. Together they represent a broad range of clients across energy and electricity, gaming, education, local government, rail and transportation, and nonprofit advocacy, and they handle every engagement personally.

Our work covers both sides of the process: advancing legislation our clients need and defending against legislation that would harm them. We work in both the House and the Senate, independently or alongside a client’s existing government affairs team. Everything we do rests on preparation, ethics, and relationships with legislators and agency staff that carry from one session to the next.
